I am an aspiring evolutionary biologist fascinated by plant reproductive strategies. My current research, which will also be the subject of my senior thesis, centers on polymorphism in ovule packaging in Phlox longifolia; I’m investigating the developmental mechanisms driving the seed size/number trade-off using histological techniques. My work seeks to contribute to a broader understanding of plant reproductive biology and its implications for biodiversity and ecological adaptation.
