Hi! I'm a student at the College who joined the Kramer Lab in January 2023. I'm especially fascinated by floral genetics, since they provide a window into the myriad different, beautifully weird plant-pollinator interactions that have arisen over millions of years of angiosperm evolution. My current research explores nectary morphology and development in the Mimulus (monkeyflower) model system, with a particular emphasis on discovering the identities of nectary regulators, as well as the dynamics of their expression and the evolutionary and ecological contexts they inhabit.
