The Kramer Lab is happy to welcome new postdoc, Yan Gong, who comes to us from Stanford University where he studied cell polarity and stomata development in *Arabidopsis thaliana* in the Bergmann Lab. Yan is interested in investigating the cellular and molecular dynamics of petal spur formation in *Aquilegia* and is actively developing long-term live imaging approaches and downstream image analysis pipelines to enhance our understanding of *Aquilegia* petal spur structure and development.
